- You know we love a good built versus bought matchup and this one does NOT disappoint! Daryl and his buddies built his Nissan Hardbody pickup on a slim budget using whatever they had laying around, and the result is a serious party machine. In the other corner is Jason's badass Cadillac CTS-V sporting an enormous supercharger and some meat out back.

@Alex Barn idk man ask those people why they are like that, I personally enjoy knowing about the cars but not everyone is the same pops
@PooterBigums what the hell is the point of watching a race if you don’t know what’s done to each car?
I don't think a separate channel for this would be a good idea. Generally speaking VNclip channels require daily uploads to stay relevant in the algorithm and while there are few exceptions eventually Hoonigan could find themselves lacking a video for a day or so for a number of reasons. On this channel they can at least swap out a TvsT video for something else without no one really knowing because there isn't really a set schedule but on a dedicated TvsT channel a day without a video would result in a day without views meaning no ad revenue and a day of not at least passively reminding people that the merch store exists if not actively promoting it. (Not hating on that. I help with a merch store it's the best way to keep stuff moving.)
To summarize: Unless they could find a way to get maybe two or more entertaining videos per set of cars keeping a consistent upload rate for a dedicated TvsT channel would be very difficult over time and that doesn't include the effort to fill the void left on the main channel too.

@Goaty McGoatface Im far from a Caddy guy. I have a fleet of hot rods and that was the best fit for the show at the time. I grudge race, show up with whatever you or your friends have to Grudge Fest February 25th and lets find out. I’ll be there with my race truck the Yetti, not my grocery getter..
Definitely some hard feelings coming from the CTS-V driver, no talk or screen time after the second race is a first in this series.

what nobody is talking about is how the cts tecnically jumped in the first race. he broke rear tires and started spinning and move forward a bit.

Too bad the Cadillac grenaded his stock transmission. Those transmissions are only rated for 750hp, yet he was over 400whp higher

Like probably everyone else here, Kens videos/Hoonigan really inspired me to get into drifting. I bought a hardbody to convert it to a drift truck, so seeing yalls first video back featuring a hardbody kind of brings it full circle for me.
I will always support this channel. The content that is made, the merchandise produced, all of it. Looking back at what Ken has built is truly amazing and I can’t thank y’all enough for pushing through and continuing his legacy. hoon responsibly and don’t be an asshole. #KB43VER
