He don't deserve the third fight unless he accepted his lost like AJ first fight. Also, AJ 2 match his performance was what was expected to be.

He uses phrases like I would have and I let him. It seemed as if he feels like everything was his choice but in reality he was in no position to dictate terms and Anthony Joshua took this fight out of his hands by boxing him. Don't make the mistake for even a moment that Andy Ruiz had better options and just chose to lose. He was in no position that night to do anything other than what he did, look like that big purple fuker Grimace from the McDonald's cartoons.

We knew all along that the first fight was pure luck. He was dominated and looked totally a joke for 12 rounds

You can never take away he was the first Mexican heavy weight champion of the world. The problem is he may never get another chance again. And you can never take away the fact that's one hell of a nice respectful man. Good luck Andy.

Wrong strategy was adopted by AR for the second fight. AR was well prepared for this fight than the first. In the first he was knocked down for the first time in his career. In the second fight he took AJ shots better and didn't go down like the first because he was stronger and heavier. AJ limited the opportunities for AR to counter punch by hitting and moving. He knew AJ was going to move around. He was prepared to take AJ shots and give his too. AR should express gratitude to AJ for the opportunities to fight him because he was blessed with millions of dollars for sharing same ring with AR rather than take away from masterclass display by AJ. For AR's ingratitude going by the way he spoke post fight AJ must not give him another opportunity except it is mandatory.

Andy doesn't deserve another fight. He came in kooking like he was a couch potato for 3 months. He didn't take this fight serious, so he lost my respect!

  • JR422 000

A third fight isn’t completely ruled out but it won’t be for years, AJ will need to defend his title against mandatory challengers and eventually face off against fury or wilder whereas Ruiz will need to spend the next few years winning and proving that he’s worthy of another title shot, definitely won’t happen in the foreseeable future though

    • bofursgun
      bofursgun 26 ngày trước

      JR422 000
"Ruiz will need to spend the next few years winning and proving that he’s worthy of another title shot", you say. Therein lies the problem. The chances of Ruiz being dedicated enough to get in shape, focus and beat legitimate contenders is - unlike him - very slim. If I'm wrong, then I'll be the first to put my hands up and give Ruiz credit, but after this last fight with AJ, everything about fatboy screams yesterday's news/one hit wonder who got lucky. A great story for the grandchildren though!

What is it about folk that just won the lotto or a championship fight and walked away with more money than they've ever seen before that they go out and blow it living it up. Its what separates them from the really rich who made their money investing their windfall. I was happy for RUIZ but he goes and shells out $450 grand on a Rolls Royce. That's about 3 times the value of a house in Imperial from where he hails. And, his folks don't talk to him about the value of money. Its disgusting to see. There are many others like him out there. Ferraris, Bugatti's, and other brands. You won't see Paquiao in any one of them. Ruiz let himself and Mexico down. He's no Canelo or Floyd.
There's an old tried and true saying that says " Pride goeth before the fall". We just saw that happen.

This fight had to be fixed. I've seen the weight loss photos of Andy and something's not right idk I feel Eddie Hearse played a part, it also makes since for third fight and wheres the best place to have it the UK . Think about this who else would AJ fight after this, it would either be Tyson or Wilder. I know AJ scared to fight Wilder he keeps ducking him and theres not another option but to fight Andy Ruiz one more time and then fight the winner of Wilder or Fury. But damn Andy should have prepared more , all that fame got to him. But it was good to be the first mexican heavyweight champ it'll go down in history regardless.

If Ruiz was lighter, it would have been an early Knockout. AJ would have Ko'd him early... Ruiz game plan was to surprise Joshua with his extra weight and Ruiz believed extra weight will make him able to take Joshua's punches and believe me it helped him stayed on his feet after those punches...

  • Lee Roberts
    Lee Roberts Tháng trước

"Third fight"? I don't see the point. AJ did his homework, Ruiz didn't and he was clearly outboxed. AJ dominated that fight. There are more better interesting fighters/challengers out there for AJ than Ruiz Jr. He flunked it and he should be put to the back of the queue.

Andy is on of the great Boxer... HE have good n cool style... High level on the new type of fighters. But AJ is to strong, taller and smart too. So, AJ why he ia better than Andy.... Good luck Andy for the next opportunity ....
