The moment and the stage probably got the best of Martin there. Everyone makes mistakes and what really counts is how you react from a mistake. Probably will receive hate for the time being but a great learning experience to help grow into a mature player. Congrats to FDU for an incredible run and Florida Atlantic on making it to the Sweet 16!!!
I was at this game in Columbus and you would have thought it was a home game for FDU, crowd was rooting for them all night long

I'm actually rooting for FAU now since everyone painting them as the villain. Considering the amount of bad sportsmanship that happens during a basketball game it always made me laugh when people complain about taking the last shot at the end. That is always treated like the worse thing ever 😂

The kid from FAU is gonna learn moving forward that there’s no need to show off with a 360 dunk. Run the clock out, shake your opponent’s hands and get ready for the next opponent. This Owl team is going to be exciting to watch if they make it to the elite 8

I'm happy for FAU making it to the Sweet 16 because it validates them being ranked for much of the regular season even though most people had never heard of them and none of their games were on national TV. If they had lost in their conference tournament or lost in the first round of the NCAA tournament they would have just been another mid-major team that won a lot of games. Making the Sweet 16 guarantees their place in history. Good on them.

@James M none but still had them winning East bracket. I had the same final four and championship game Gonzaga beating Creighton. Also had Texas a&m in that final four that’s where I messed up big time lol but I took a shot on these teams and I still got 3 left

2018 UMBC had great defense though
UMBC was actually a decent team. This FDU team is garbage. They are 350+ ranked on defense. They didn’t even win their conference tournament. UMBC was MUCH better.

is it just me or do NCAA college players seem to move faster than NBA guys sometimes? like I watch a lot of NBA, but these college dudes, it feels like the playback speed is 2.0, they move so fast, idk, its like, some other teams ive seen, some point guards are a blur, not sure if dudes are getting more explosive but im just surprised how fast the pace is, I dont see this often In the league
They younger nba players are older they slow down naturally with age. But the game is getting faster nba is a lot faster in modern days. And it will get faster because the average player will be more athletic
