When Kwon says they were swinging the clubs so well yesterday, but woke up today and it’s like, “whats a golf club?”. That hit me in my soul.

'Dormie' is described as "being ahead by as many holes as there are left to play". The word came from the French world 'dormir', meaning to sleep, the theory being that since a player who is 'dormie' can no longer lose the match, they can now relax, or metaphorically 'go to sleep'. So it would be the person who is winning or who won the match who is 'dormie'. Although in my Savage mind it would be awesome to put your opponent to 'sleep' and therefore they would be 'dormie' 😈

It’s actually so helpful to see the bad days too. Kwon and G-man usually play so well on the main GG channel, it’s helpful to remember they’re just like us sometimes

The vibes these 2 generate off each other is UNMATCHED! puts the biggest smile on my face watching these videos, Luke seems to be in a happy place and so does Garret, love you boys!

Maybe I’m alone on this but I think the last camera shot from far away because of the rain was actually an awesome angle and gave more perspective on the length of the putt. Obviously it’s nice to see the break as well but in Good Good videos an angle from far away as well would be a nice addition to give us perspective. Just an idea! Keep up the great content!

What Kwon said about waking up and not knowing what a golf club is is so true, shot an 87 which is my second best score ever, next day, shot a 56 front 9 and walked off the course 😅 Golf is a wild game.

Love these videos!! Thanks for the content. I'm an 8 handicap- and somedays I feel like I can't hit a ball at all. It's coming out fat. Or on the toe. Or duckhooking. And you cant quite figure out why. Its incredibly demoralizing and frustrating - kind of how I imagine Garret was feeling in this video. However- I absolutely admire the way he handled it. He remained somewhat positive. Didn't sulk. And kept going. We can learn a lot from that as golfers, and in life in general. Well up boys!

When I played Poipu Bay, the pro told me that if we saw rain coming, just point our cart in the direction the rain is coming from - give it a few minutes, and it will be gone....happened like three times during our round!

"Dormie" is a term used in match play in golf, and it means that the golfer or side that is leading the match is ahead by the same number of holes as remain to be played. A golfer who is 1-up with one hole to play, for example, is dormie

Why is G-Rat setting up so close to the ball? That’s a sure fire way to bring the double cross into play…as seen here.

This makes me feel less bad about my game 😂 I have these days( way worse obviously) where my driver just slices OB every hole. even when I am aiming 90 degrees left 🤣( the worst is when you are aiming that far left and all of a sudden you hit a draw 😢. Being stubborn I just keep thinking the next hole my swing will be back( spoiler its not) then a week later everything is back to normal without changing anything.

"The rain just stopped" G said at least twice. When I visited Kauai, I remember thinking it would rain pretty hard, then shut off as abruptly as when you're driving in the rain and go under an overpass. My hind brain was waiting for it to start again in a few seconds when I drove out again.

Bad golf is bound to happen. I took a week and a half off from practicing in the simulator because it’s winter here, and now the clubs feel foreign in my hands. I’m hitting a fade with my irons instead of my normal draw. Consistent practice is so important and an indoor simulator is crucial for those of us that love in places like Michigan.

This is some of the harest golf I have ever seen ... wind, rain, bermuda (only thing worse is KaKILLya' I mean kaikoura grass) and fast greens with sneaky breaks. WOW! To shot even par is something.

In this case, Luke was dormie. Dormir means "to sleep" so i remember it by the fact that you're so far ahead you can basically sleep walk your way to a win.

Take the positive in golf. You don't "choke" up or down on a golf club you "grip" down. In the same vein, dormie has to do with the leader. Up by the same number of holes left to play. Or, the one who is dormie cannot lose the match but can still win the match.
