These are Crevalle Jacks. Pretty common in big marinas as the charter boats that come in feed them all the time when they filet the catch of the day. They get pretty big and put a hell of a fight.
I worked at a restaurant in Hollywood Florida back in the day we used to do this on our break with fish skins and pull them up on the dock, (they’re giant Jack Crevalles)they’d chase thrown chicken wings as far as you could throw them, and explode on them before they hit the water!
You could never play tug of war with pure muscle of water, literally pure muscle and weight. Even if you are the strongest. They can pull you in just as fast😂
The fish was the distraction, the partner was the bird behind them grabbing the real food lol
