      @Zig Man 40 is old for you, because you're most likely not athletic, don't have a good diet or regime. Eli is fueled by the best resources available to stay in tip top shape. So for someone of that caliber. no, 40 isn't old for a guy like that

    • Lucid180
      Lucid180 5 ngày trước

      @Zig Man Rub a couple braincells together homie. Talking about a guy who has been playing the game at the highest level for a very long time, not to mention he's pretty fresh out of retirement still, just a short 2 years ago he was playing against the best in the world. Now he's doing college tryouts and people are surprised he performed exceptionally. Such a ridiculously stupid concept lol

    Why don't they really do it? Could you imagine, a quarterback like Eli would chew up college football, even at his age! He would be a coach on the field and would slaughter defenses! This man has seen it all and is a two-time Super Bowl champion. You would have to make a great disguise for him so the media wouldn't pick up on it, and give him false identification, but it could be done! It would be sport's biggest scandal!

      @Clarnus FYI
      Romans 1:19-20
      19 since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities-his eternal power and divine nature-have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.
      Yes even people on an isolated island can come to know God.

    • Clarnus

      @Jesus Saves! Why are we to have faith in these fantastic stories when the only perpetuator of such are misguided humans? If you were never brainwashed by your parent(s) or other influential figure(s), you would have zero inkling of the existence of any deities or the legends attached. If you had been born on a remote island, where Jesus' or Allah's or whatever's name had never been muttered, would you somehow have ascertained this information yourself? If you died on this island, would you be welcomed into the afterlife even though you never read the Quran or Bible or prayed? Or is religion just an ancient human coping method to tangle with our purposeless existence?

    This was written for my husband, William J Piram. He did not play football until he attended a public school as a 9th grader. He made the Bison FB team defensive end. He still wanted to play and was a "run on" for St. Cloud State college. He was red shirted with a 4 yr scholarship. He was not recruited but wanted to chase his dream for a roster spot. His Dad told he'd never make water boy. He only attended one of his college games. He gave his heart and soul to play football. He passed 02022020. Thank you for this story.

    Awesome! As a skier in high school, I “walked on” as a swimmer in college and was given a ticket to travel in the slowest varsity spot. It never occurred to me to shoot for a scholarship.

    For real though, even a 41 year old who hasn’t played ball in several years clearly stands out from the crowd. Sometimes people forget how good these guys have to be to play pro ball.

    Watching throwback of Eli Manning's uni days instantly welled my eyes when I remember how I gave up on the sport I was gifted and passionate in because the Country I live in invests nothing into the arts or sports or talent. I'm greatful for life but in truth I could have attained full potential in the US. Oh well, back to my 9 to 5 clerical.
