Wow. The locals are very hospitable. And I'm impressed how well spoken in English the locals are despite of rare encounter with foreign visitors. The great thing about visiting places where other tourists doesn't come is that you get to experience the real culture of the place. Most people living in non-tourist areas around the world are friendly when they see foreigners. And you don't necessarily have to travel to Tuvalu. I've backpacked in Thailand and Vietnam without seeing a single tourist for weeks.

Most of the problems in the world, as in people's lives, just come from the attempt to seek compensation for this lack.
