Hey there, thanks for checking the Stacked Golf VNclip channel! We’re Jon and Ashley, a husband and wife team of amateur golfers looking to share our love of the game with our viewers. Our goal is to inspire more golfers along with people who have never played before to get out on the golf course and have fun regardless of their age, budget, or skill level.
We find all kinds of golf deals at garage sales, thrift store, flea markets, auctions, online marketplaces, and more to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to start playing golf or upgrade your current golf bag. Along with our thrifting adventures, we specialize in reviewing the cheapest golf gear, gimmick clubs, As Seen On TV golf clubs, crazy training aids, and more to see if they are worth checking out to improve your golf game. You will also find course vlogs, golf challenges, and budget golf course reviews from our travels. We both love the game of golf and want to share our adventures with you.
Here’s a little about us: While most kids were watching cartoons, Jon was studying the Golf Channel to learn how to play and improve his golf game. He spent most of his childhood on the golf course and loves trying out new golf clubs and gear. Jon also loves to fish and kayak. If he could he would spend all his time on the golf course or catching giant bass.
Ashley is a beginner golfer with no athletic background whatsoever before attempting to pick up the game of golf. Her unnatural ability to read the green has made her a great putter but the rest of the game is still a work in progress and we hope you enjoy watching her improve on the channel. She is also known for finding incredible deals and unique finds both online and at thrift stores and garage sales. Along with golfing and budget shopping she also enjoys trying out and creating new recipes and using Jon as her taste testing guinea pig.

Quick story. Saw a VNclip video talking about old drivers from the mid 90's. They found a Titleist Pro Titanium 975-FE, 9.5 with a stock Titleist green graphite shaft. They got is for 25 pounds. Tested it against their Callaway Rouge driver. There wasn't a Hugh difference. So I found one on Ebay, 14.00 + 14.00 shipping. It is so sweet to hit. I hit it this weekend. Straight and about 220 yards. I am 64 years old with an 75 mph swing speed with my driver. The sound and feel, so much better than my current Callaway driver.

bought a full set Gen5 yesterday! Should be good for 10+ years I would imagine. Considering my previous clubs lasted me 17. :)

@Brandon Roberts how do the clubs feel?
@GenXcivic I was fitted in the T head for the irons due to my swing speed and the amount I play. (Pretty much every weekend atleast once and a range session once a week as well) I have played 2 rounds now and The t heads are not as forgiving as my previous irons with miss hits but dang when you catch one in the middle you feel it. It is like slicing butter. So I am working on consistency of hitting off the face. Something I think all golfers are working on this though. They do have more forgiving faces the p and xf I believe they are.
I do recommend going and getting a fitting. It was a fun process especially if you have never had one before.
I am going to be changing out the grips. But that is mostly due to myself always having sweaty hands and I need a more secure feeling in my left hand especially. I normally play with three different golf gloves in just one round due to my hand sweat factor :/

Tin Cup is certainly in the top 3 along with Happy Gilmore, and Caddyshack. Love my Kirkland Wedges(and putter)! Great find! And i know I’ve said it before but i played those VAS irons from like 2000 thru 2020!
T & D is amazing. I'd been using the same clubs for 20 years and needed some help. Got some ping G's, a 4 hybrid, a 5 wood, new bag, and some regrips for great deal just a couple weeks ago. Definitely check them out if you're in the area. Super nice guy.
