The problem is that people create an extremely unrealistic image in their head of such famous people. And they expect some demi-god looking dude and if that doesn't happen, they turn into haters. Such people are literal trash. We're all just people trying to live a semi happy life most of the time. @Ash its actually not his voice is just naturally deep. gerd made it slightly more raspy now but it was always this deep due to genetics. It takes years, and i mean YEARS almost decades, for someone to go from a normal voice to corpses voice due to gerd.

@soulz there’s two layers in the ‘i’m not okay’ part, the main the with his normal voice, and another one on top of it of him singing the lines a lot higher, it’s just harder to focus on and zero into because you’re more used to his normal voice. i think under the weather is corpse singing, it seems to sound different but i think a lot of it is that his singing has never been the front and centre of a song before, it’s background in agoraphobic and blends into the instrumentals of the lofi
