Please delete this video, ad-didu waters down the pure Aqeedah of the Salaf and has a lot of very serious mistakes in Aqeedah which scholars have warned against, including Shaykh Sulayman Ruhayli.

@anon Only scholars are suitable to criticize, refute, and debate other scholars. The vast majority of us lack even 10% of his knowledge and even less understanding. Beware that there's also pseudoscholars who have all but abandoned our traditionally honored methods of learning and understanding as well as neglecting the aml (action) by assuming they can just read something and through intellect can fully grasp it's meaning and detail. Lastly, if this brother has been proven to be false or flawed in teachings then bring your proof otherwise you're being counterproductive and making accusations you cannot sustain.
The sad part is that i just heard of this man today for the 1st time. Its the ones who aren't looking for attention that are the most knowledgeable most of the time
there are better scholars, don't follow the ashari or other sects but rather follow the prophet pbuh when he said the righteous predecessors which are the three first generations of Muslims are the best, we should follow them.

There are jewels in Muslim countries but they are not online. The saudis had petrodollars thats how they promoted their salafi movement otherwise the Sunni islam was dominant everywhere (still is except online). Marituania have some amazing scholars

As a hindu, the video was greatly informative and looking at the wisdom of a knowledgable muslim, I can say it is a perfectly designed and beautiful religion

It has been more than a year since I have been researching islam, I sure got many misconceptions cleared out, but few of my questions are yet to be answered, my journey of seeking truth is still ongoing and I am willing to wait and learn instead of rushing into a belief, because if I do that I would not be doing justice to the curiosity and striving for truth that comes to me as gifts of being a human.
I actually like a muslim girl, she is a very modest and respectable person, and when I confessed my views for her, she obviously denied but she said that she finds me as a nice person too and as she likes me too, she started teaching me about islam slowly, thus, I figured that instead of simply telling me that I need to be a muslim to be with her, she just guided me towards islam so that I discover it myself.

We need this scholar to come more to this show. I have learned so much just in 28 minutes, subhanAllah. Every question was answered so precisely in a way that does not offend any school of thought, but brings Muslims closer to each other, MashAllah!
The brilliance of it is that it isnt just for show, like how some will make claims to appease non-muslims societies, but all this information is established in the Religion. I know someone local to me who left our small town to go and study Islam. He's returned now and occasionally gives speeches at some local mosques (one of which he teaches at too). He always says "the beauty of Islam is in the differing opinions." I didnt get it initially, but im understanding it more and more the more i learn. SubhanAllah.

Sir I am not sure if you have heard of Javed Ahmed Ghamdi from Pakistan. He is also a great scholar and a very knowledgeable person . His arguments on controversial issues about Islam and ummah are very strong and very logical. He has established an institute with the name "Almawrid" (المورد) with branches in many countries including Australia. Please try to hold a program with him also.

as everyone can see the term Son of God refers to the Word of God = god himself! For through that God created the worlds! *what a mistake in the Qur'an!*
Sheikh dadu knows over 50 islamic sciences, in their totality, by heart. it’s impossible to comprehend how much blessing this guy was given in Elm. a tiny example, there is a poem, just a poem, that captures all quranic tafseers of the whole quran in about 50,000 verses. he knows it all. and that poem is just one little thing, in one of the 50+ fields that he mastered. may Allah guide us all and give him stability and benefit us and the scholars with his insight. and give us more people like him who can revive the nation across countries.

Yeah that doesn't refute the hadith in any way shape or form, i seek protection from Allah from all misguidance.
This is a smart way of not answering the question. Read the entire chapter intro of Sunnan Ibn Majah - the importance of clinging to the sunnah - the hadith are authentic s several GREAT ulama have discussed them at length. Yes groups are not resurrected but the saved sect is a metholdogy and a manhaj that you have to adhere to. Otherwise everyone can practice islam how they please according to your own understanding. Perhaps it’s time we took aqeedah seriously and searched into matters deeply for ourself.

the majority of the scholars in the English speaking world studied in Saudi Arabia and almost all the righteous scholars in Saudi Arabia are imprisoned. You can do the math yourself.

I’ve been following him since 2009. What’s unique about him is that he didn’t study in one place under few scholars but have traveled to seek knowledge from Mauritania to saudi, yemen, india, and 47 other countries if I remember correctly, reminds me of what I heard about shafi’e and other scholars from the past. I would listen to his lectures and he would casually mention detailed saying of other scholars regarding very detailed issues of fetwa as if he was reading off of their books.
How to follow him
Allahu Akbar, never have seen someone able to answer very complex questions with such calmness and simplicity, so much so that anyone can understand the answer and feel peace in it. Subhaan Allah! May Allah preserve the Shaykh and lengthen his life in good health and taqwaa so that we can take more from him!

English only speaking muslims have never witnessed how knowledgeable this man is, amazing man. Every time he speaks you feel like his words are purposely said and each word has some weighty knowledge in it. His Ramadan series are the greatest made for TV sermons ever.
Not sure how accurate it is but I have heard that He has a school in Mauritania where students graduate in 17 years, to qualify to study in this school you have to be able to recite Qur’an with all Qira’at by memory, you have to also have memorized Bukhari and Muslim and countless other small books. Some of us think people who have memorized Qur’an and understood Ahadith are Scholars, his standards are next level, a genius indeed.

One thing I like about the scholars of Islam is that alot of the time, their answers to questions are far more nuanced than the average Muslim is prepared for (in a good way). They show a great deal of balance in their approach to the answers they give.

@Jj Ee modern Salafiyya is a different ideology that's mostly like the Modern medicine. Can not be disproved by Texts, but practically more of reactions than actions. Surely there are good with good intention. But those who oppose everyone makes everything around them black and white.

btw you didn't answer the question, you sound like a jahmiya atheist denying Allah's siffat ... you said His attributes are just words but contradict ... His attributes are real. Allah is al Khaliq in reality, Allah is Al Awwal , or the first in reality even in basic understanding of the language, if you deny this you prove you don't know Islam at all!

Imagine a person who is a grand scholar & whose grandfather from his mum side was an imam of amazing calibre & so are his uncles from his mum side were all grand scholars. His uncle Allama Salim was probably the greatest living scholar before he died. His father was a scholar & so are many of his grandfathers from his dad side. It doesn’t end there. His mum, his grandmother, his aunties from his mum & dad sides are all scholars. Amazing. And there are many such scholars and families in Mauritania even though his family is unique in many aspects.
