    6 Yukon Gold Potatoes
    Kosher Salt 2 tsp
    Unsalted butter 1 stick (melted)
    Add butter first before cream or milk
    heavy cream 1 cup - medium high heat add rosemary sprigs of garlic (clove)
    strain out garlic and rosemary only add cream to potatoes gradually

    My method for mashed potatoes is to add cream and use a hand blender until they are very fluffy. Then add butter. If you at butter before cream or milk the fat will coat the starch and it wont absorb anything and it will be a mess. Also warm the cream or milk before adding. Boy they will melt in your mouth and so fluffy and creamy! Just add salt and pepper to 'Tasty.' (don't forget the garlic)

    in my family they use milk and butter and then boil the potatoes back for 2-3 minutes. And also use a blender so the texture turns out as it should. Mashed potatoes are a traditional Russian dish and other Slavic peoples. I really love mashed potatoes since childhood.

    Here's my recipe. Peel 5-7 medium potatoes and cut them into fourths. Then boil them until cooked, then add in half a stick of butter after after straining the pot, then mash them with 2 cups of milk. Then add as much salt as you want until they taste the best.
